Get Out of the Broom Closet

Hey all, my name is Drake Atlas.  Currently I live in Chandler, AZ and love it.  Arizona is such an amazing place because here you can be who you want without the fear of a lynch mob.  Many people who know me in my community can tell you I am somewhat of a klutz.  I am known to randomly drop my potluck items for the ritual feast, more often than not at the ritual area.  But they will also tell you that I am fun and very exciting to be around, because you never really know what I will say or do next.

I have been a practicing witch since 2001, but I am sure I have been a Pagan for even longer.  I am a member of coven called Circle of the Rising Sun for which I recently acquired the title of High Priest.  I love my craft and everything to do with it, especially working with herbs.  My background in the craft is very heavily influenced by Norse traditions, but I was initiated into a British Traditional linage.

On February 23, 2009 I started the Pagan podcast called Get Out of the Broom Closet.  My original focus for the podcast before I even started publishing episodes was to log in words what I had learned on my path as a witch.  I wanted to leave behind something for anyone to listen to and learn about how I walk my own path.  It has become that and so much more with every episode.  Also with every episode I learn even more about why I do the things I do.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you, and I encourage you to send me your topics and questions.  I find that the more I hear about why other people do the things that they do, I learn even more.  So I love listener feedback.  So until than I will continue living my life to the fullest as I always do.  I hope and expect you all to do the same.  Merry Meet, Merry Part, and Merry we shall Meet again
